Trisha is a classically trained pianist, contemporary singer-songwriter and music educator with 10+ years of experience with a Level 8 RCM certification and a strong background in songwriting and professional recording. Her passion for music began at a very young age- singing karaoke before she could even read, and has since evolved into a multifaceted musical career. As a recording artist, Trisha has written, released and performed original music, allowing her to explore music not just as a craft, but as a means of authentic self-expression. Her experiences in the studio and on stage deeply influence her teaching, offering students a real-world perspective on both the technical and creative aspects of music-making. Trisha has worked with students of all ages and skill levels in both group and one on one settings. She focuses on helping students build a strong technical foundation while nurturing their individual artistic voices. Trisha believes in creating a supportive, engaging and inspiring learning environment where students feel confident and excited to explore their creativity. In addition to repertoire, she emphasizes musicality, ear training and healthy piano habits. Whether students are learning to read and play music for the first time, preparing for exams, auditions or recitals or pursuing songwriting and performance, Trisha tailors her lessons to fit their goals and learning styles.
