Student and Tutor practiced various piano pieces focusing on finger positions, hand shifts, and applying different dynamics (forte, piano, mezzoforte). They also engaged in music theory exercises, including identifying dynamics by ear, understanding staff notation, and drawing treble and bass clefs. Homework was assigned from both the lesson and theory books to reinforce these concepts.

The Student and Tutor engaged in a piano lesson, reviewing fundamental concepts such as the grand staff, middle C position, clefs, and dynamics. They practiced several homework songs, focusing on technique and dynamics, and worked through various theory book exercises including note identification, ear training, and musical alphabet sequencing. The session concluded with the introduction of new songs for sight-reading and assigning four new pieces for homework, with emphasis on the first three.

A major focus was the introduction to reading music on the grand staff, including identifying treble and bass clefs and differentiating line and space notes. The Student practiced several new pieces using these concepts, and four new songs from pages 36-39 were assigned as homework.

Student and Tutor reviewed identifying black key groups and practiced playing with dynamics (forte and piano). They learned about half notes and whole notes, applying them to familiar songs, and were introduced to locating white keys, specifically C, D, and E, as well as C position. For homework, the Student was assigned 15 minutes of daily practice on the covered songs, and the importance of a music theory workbook was discussed for deeper understanding.

Student and Tutor focused on piano technique, practicing sight-reading exercises and scales in C, G, and E-flat major. They then applied these skills to practicing sections of the song "Demons," addressing rhythm, chord changes, and proper pedal technique. Student was assigned to practice these concepts, with follow-up scheduling to be confirmed.
