Jason - Know your guitar teacher
'm a private music teacher with a diverse background in jazz, classical, and rock. As a graduate of Bishop's University with honors in music performance and music theory, I'm excited to share my passion and expertise with students of all levels. My deep understanding of multiple genres allows me to provide a unique and well-rounded education to my students, and I'm committed to helping them achieve their musical goals. As a private music teacher I recognize that the path to learning is not always straightforward, and that students may encounter obstacles along the way. However, I also believe that these challenges can be opportunities for growth, both for the student and for me as a teacher. By listening to my students and learning from their experiences, I can better understand their unique needs and adapt my teaching methods accordingly. In this way, teaching becomes a collaborative process, where we work together to overcome obstacles and find the most effective approach to learning. Ultimately, my goal is to empower my students to succeed, while also growing and evolving as a teacher in the process. It is my hope that through music education, my students will come to appreciate the beauty, richness, and importance of this art form, and carry that appreciation with them throughout their lives.
