Classical piano and/or Music Theory lessons with an Undergraduate student from King’s College London (BMus)

I am a Bachelor of Music (BMus) student at King’s College London with a strong background in piano performance, music theory, and musicianship. I achieved Distinctions in ABRSM Piano Grades 5, 7 and 8 and in ABRSM Grade 5 Music Theory, alongside a Merit in ABRSM Grade 3 Piano. I also achieved an A in A-level Music and enjoy studying music analysis and theory alongside my practical work. Beyond solo piano performance, I have experience as an accompanist and a collaborative musician. I was a part of two trios separately in secondary school, have accompanied a fellow music student in a university recital and have regularly performed as a volunteer pianist in a hospital setting for almost four years. Through this work, I have collaborated with a range of musicians and accompanied instruments including violin and erhu. I have teaching experience with students aged 7 to 19, ranging from complete beginners to advanced players working towards Grade 8 level. Having completed multiple ABRSM practical and theory examinations myself, I am well placed to support students preparing for exams, while also helping them develop broader musical understanding, confidence, and enjoyment of music. My teaching style is patient, supportive, and tailored to each student’s goals. Whether a student is learning for enjoyment, preparing for ABRSM examinations, developing technique, or strengthening their music theory skills, I aim to create lessons that are engaging, encouraging, and structured around their individual needs. But most importantly, I wish to see them enjoy playing such a wonderful instrument.
