Experienced pianist with a degree in education from Brandon University offering multi-level lessons for all ages.

I have had a private one-to-one music studio operating with up to 25 students for over 40 years. I have a degree in music education and taught music in the public school system for 37 years. Piano is my specialty. I earned my piano proficiency level while in university, and have been instructing students in Royal Conservatory preparation up to Level 6, and various methodologies for beginning students. I am a church musician, performing weekly for 2-3 services as well as providing special event music (ie funeral, wedding, baptism). I teach theory along with all my lessons but have taught specific theory based lessons for Royal Conservatory levels. During COVID-19, I did some online instruction and have done some supplementary lessons by video as well. I taught online English lessons for 2 years with VIPKid. I am a positive and energetic instructor bringing fun into my classroom. My past students have received many awards for both festival performances and examination results. They have gone on to become accompanists and teachers. Parents are pleased with the strong connections I make with the students and the flexibility of instruction I am able to provide. Students may choose many genres of music to focus on.
