As a singer-songwriter myself, I’m passionate about helping others discover their own voice through songwriting. My teaching style is relaxed, supportive and tailored to each individual, creating a space where students can experiment with ideas, express themselves and grow in confidence. Lessons can cover everything from finding inspiration and getting started with a song to developing lyrics, melodies, chord progressions and accompaniment. If you’re already writing your own music, we can work together to develop your ideas, explore different approaches and find ways to bring your songs to life. I believe there is no single right way to write a song, so my aim is to offer practical advice, creative guidance and constructive feedback while allowing students to maintain their own unique style. Whether you’re a complete beginner or already have experience, I want lessons to be enjoyable, inspiring and a place where you feel confident exploring your creativity. I also love helping students understand how to turn personal experiences, emotions and everyday moments into meaningful songs. We can explore different songwriting techniques, experiment with musical ideas and discover what makes a song feel authentic to you.
