Beginner classical piano lessons for students looking to begin their creative journey

I’m Sylvana Isabella Hughes and I am a classical pianist who specialises in classical piano training, helping beginners to learn hand position, sight reading, performance and ear training. Lessons are flexible and easy to follow to ensure students understand each stage and can begin playing with confidence. Resources needed will include being able to print off sheet music needed for the lesson, having a keyboard that comes with a pedal and being willing to learn. An empty notebook with or without musical notation will also be useful to writing down topics gone over in the lessons. I have experience teaching young children classical piano and keybord and aiding performances on stage, and my musical background was shaped by the ABRSM piano qualifications I completed throughout my life as well as competition and concerts I participated in to gain confidence in performance. Aside from classical piano education, I also lean into improvisation and backing keyboard to suit vocals, and can teach students how to play pop music by ear on the piano. This is a great skill to learn for students who want to study pop performance, drama or singing as they will have a clear understanding of tone, pitch and harmony.
