Hello future piano students! I'm Arjun Gogoi, an RCM certified pianist and piano teacher with over 4 years of experience in teaching piano. I have a passion for music and enjoy anything music related, including making, teaching and listening to all sorts of music. For this reason, I believe it is my responsibility to spread the excitement, joy and knowledge that comes with learning to play music. My primary focus is teaching beginner and intermediate piano of all ages. Some topics you may encounter in my lessons include notes, chords, sight reading, ear training, scales, arpeggios, dynamics and articulation, as well as a few tips for performances. Apart from piano, I have also been playing trombone from school since elementary school and I am a member of the McMaster University Marching Band and was previously a member of the award-winning Burlington Teen Tour Band. I also like to play guitar on my spare time and plan on learning more musical instruments in the future and completing my RCM certifications.
