“Musical theatre and classical should never overlap” -every voice teacher ever (except me!)

If music be the food of love, sing on! My name is Maddi, I have 10+ years of voice experience with 5 years of collegiate study of voice, music, and education. I specialized in classical, musical theatre, and the blend of both together. I teach in-person private voice locally, so this is not my first rodeo. I structure my lessons with the first half being vocal technqiue, built through warm-ups, scales, and special vocal eases that are suited to your voice, what we need to be learning and building good, healthy habits. The second half applying the technique we learned in the first half to the repertoire we are singing. Practice makes progress! My expectation is that you practice outside of lessons and come back with those habits built in so we don’t need to spend that first half reteaching and instead we can keep adding. Not only do I teach vocal technique, I can also teach music theory concepts, ear training, rhythm reading, sight-reading, stage presence for nearly any type of gig, song writing, and song producing! It takes alot of bits and bobs to be a musician and if I don’t know how to do it, we can learn to do it together! Everyone starts as a beginner, if you’re looking to entry level, I’m your gal! If you’re an avid singer looking for more lessons, I can do that! Or even if you’re just preparing for an audition, I’m all ears!
