Hi, I'm Joseph Parkes, an experienced ESL tutor with an international background and a passion for helping students build confidence in English. Having lived in Southeast Asia for over half my life, I speak Thai and have taught English in India, Thailand, South Korea, and the UK. Working with students from a wide range of cultural and linguistic backgrounds has given me a flexible, student-centred approach to teaching. I understand the challenges of learning a new language because I've immersed myself in different cultures and languages myself. Before becoming an English teacher, I earned a First-Class Bachelor's degree in Acting. This has given me a unique set of transferable skills that greatly benefit my students. I specialise in clear pronunciation, confident communication, public speaking, and helping learners develop natural rhythm, intonation, and fluency.
