I believe that effective teaching is not merely about delivering content but about inspiring curiosity, fostering critical thinking, and empowering students to become confident, independent learners. My teaching philosophy is centred on conceptual understanding, student-centred learning, and creating an engaging environment where students develop a genuine appreciation for chemistry. I'm Sonam Rani, holding a PhD in Chemistry from the Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, India, and I completed my undergraduate and postgraduate studies in Chemistry in Chandigarh, India. My academic background and research experience have provided me with a strong foundation in both theoretical and applied chemistry, enabling me to simplify complex scientific concepts for learners at different levels. With more than four years of teaching experience, I currently teach students following a range of international curricula, including the International Baccalaureate (IB), GCSE, A-Level, Advanced Placement (AP), the United States curriculum, and the Australian curriculum. Teaching across multiple curricula has strengthened my ability to adapt my instructional methods to different educational standards, assessment styles, and learning needs.
