About Me I specialize in International Baccalaureate and university-level engineering and STEM subjects, helping students master challenging material and hit their target grades. I hold an IB Diploma grade of 36/45 and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering and Management from the University of Groningen, graduating in the top 2% of my cohort. I am currently admitted to the MSc programme at Technical University Delft, starting September 2026. My childhood in Russia, the UAE, Czechia and in the Netherlands has taught me the ability to adapt to different cultures. It allows me to find the appropriate methods to suit the needs of each individual. I am fluent in both English and Russian (native level, C2) with a good command of the Czech language (B2) and therefore I can assist students with requested tutoring in those languages. I enjoy helping students move beyond memorizing formulas to actually understanding the ideas behind them. My lessons balance conceptual explanations with practical exam techniques, so students not only perform better on assessments but also gain lasting confidence. Drawing on my practical experiences at Cimpress (global procurement) and Henkel (predictive maintenance and industrial automation), I use real-world examples to make abstract concepts easier to grasp. Over the past years, I've mentored and taught dozens of students at the University of Groningen as a Lead Learning Community Coach, and Head Teaching Assistant. Working with students one-on-one, leading peer coaches, and coordinating teaching teams has helped me develop a patient, structured teaching style that adapts to each student's learning pace and goals. My focus is on IB exam preparation, STEM university access courses and tutoring university coursework.
