10+ Years Teaching Guitar | European Touring Musician | Personalized Lessons for Every Level

Hi! I'm Lorenzo, a professional guitar teacher and performing musician originally from Italy, now based in Calgary, Canada. I've been teaching guitar for over 10 years, helping children, teenagers, and adults of all skill levels achieve their musical goals. Throughout my career, I've taught in private music schools, high schools, and music ensemble classes, working with both individual students and bands to develop technique, confidence, and musicianship. I've been playing guitar since I was 12 years old and have extensive live performance experience. As a member of an original hard rock band, I've toured across Europe, performing at clubs and festivals while writing, recording, and promoting original music. I continue to perform regularly and bring real-world stage and studio experience into every lesson. I teach both acoustic and electric guitar in a wide variety of styles, including rock, blues, country, pop, folk, metal, and fingerstyle. Whether you're a complete beginner or an experienced player looking to improve your technique, improvisation, rhythm, lead guitar, ear training, songwriting, or music theory, I'll create a personalized learning plan tailored to your goals. I can also help students preparing for Trinity College exams. My lessons are friendly, practical, and engaging, focusing on building solid fundamentals while playing the music you love.
