Ive spent most of my time learning technique and theory. My lessons are tailored to your individual goals and experience level. Whether you’re picking up a guitar for the first time or you’ve been playing for years and feel stuck, I’ll help you make real progress with a structured but enjoyable approach. Guitar concepts taught by Spencer
Student and Tutor covered chord variations, including major and minor shapes on E and A strings, and the Major 7 chord. They then explored how to identify all major and minor chords within any musical key using a specific fretboard pattern, applying this to keys like B major and A major. The Tutor will provide a diagram of the key pattern for further practice.

Crafting Melodies (Lead Guitar Integration)
The Student and Tutor focused on foundational guitar techniques and music theory. They practiced using a metronome for finger independence, learned the pentatonic scale and its application for soloing, and explored various picking styles. A significant portion of the session was dedicated to learning bar chords, including how to form both major and minor shapes and understand their relationship to the fretboard's root notes. The Tutor also provided strategies for making practice more engaging by combining scales with chords for improvisation and recommended practicing with backing tracks for homework.
