About
I'm a Master's student majoring in Food Science and Nutrition. I'm currently doing my research in algal fermentation as well as shrimp shell valorization. I did my bachelors in Food Processing Technology. I teach AP Biology. My classes are typically intended for high school students. Curious young people who want to learn more about science are my favourite kind of people - they are the reason why I teach. I'm passionate about research in the fields of food security and sustainability. Outside academia, I'm interested in geopolitics, philosophy and deep literature.

Teaching methodology
I'm a visual learner, and I teach in the way I would like to be taught. I try to translate complex topics into representations wherever possible. My classes are generally interactive with the session progressing as a fun academic discussion instead of a typical lecture. I'm always well-prepared with quirky and fun visual notes that are guaranteed to leave behind a long-lasting impression on the student. My classes would typically begin with a discussion about the student's needs, requirements and expectations from our time spent together. Topics are not attacked head-on but instead are gently warmed up to - making sure to bridge any gaps in knowledge that may play a fundamental role in understanding.
