Deevon Aird is a violinist, violist, performer, and dedicated music educator who is passionate about helping students become confident, thoughtful, and independent musicians. He holds a Bachelor of Music in Performance from Kennesaw State University, where he studied under Helen Kim and Kenn Wagner. Since graduating, he has continued to build an active career as both a teacher and performer throughout the metro Atlanta area. As an educator, Deevon has worked with students ranging from young beginners to adult learners, preparing them for school orchestra placements, recitals, and All-State auditions with a strong record of success. He also coaches school string ensembles and leads sectionals, helping students develop the technical foundation and musical confidence needed to thrive both individually and in an ensemble setting. As a performer, Deevon has appeared with the KSU Symphony Orchestra, KSU Philharmonic Orchestra, Blue Lake Festival Orchestra, Alpharetta Symphony Orchestra, and other ensembles throughout Georgia. He also performs for churches, weddings, and other live events, bringing the same level of musicianship and professionalism to every performance. Rather than measuring success by a perfect lesson, he strives to ensure that every lesson leaves students with greater understanding, a practical plan for improvement, and the confidence to keep moving forward. Guided by his personal philosophy, "Where the mind meets the heart, musicianship begins," Deevon is committed to helping students build the skills, discipline, and love for music that will serve them long after their lessons.
