My violin teaching style is learner-centred, engaging, and practical. I believe that every student can develop musical ability when taught with patience, encouragement, and the right instructional approach. I create a supportive and enjoyable learning environment where students feel confident to explore, practise, and express themselves through music. In my lessons, I combine music theory with hands-on instrumental practice, ensuring that students not only learn how to play the violin but also understand the fundamentals of music. I use age-appropriate and differentiated teaching methods to meet the diverse needs, abilities, and learning styles of my students. I emphasise proper posture, bowing techniques, intonation, rhythm, and musical expression while encouraging consistent practice and self-discipline. Over the years, I have taught violin and other musical instruments to students in both Nigeria and Angola. I established instrumental music programmes at schools, where I have introduced many learners to violin playing for the first time. I have prepared students for school performances, assemblies, and other musical presentations, helping them build confidence, teamwork, and artistic expression. My experience working with children and young people from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds has enabled me to adapt my teaching strategies to support learners of different ages and abilities. Through interactive, creative, and student-focused instruction, I strive to inspire a lifelong appreciation for music while helping students achieve their individual musical goals.
