As a general music and piano teacher, with over 15 years of experience, my name is Carmen Xenia Rivera and I Hold a BA in architecture, a masters degree in science, and advance music studies with piano as main instrument for 11 years at the Music Conservatory of Dominican Republic, besides multiple music workshops at Hartt School of music, and Kodaly institutes at Seattle and Boston. Even though my piano studies were mainly in classical music, I can teach students from all levels, be it kids, adults and beginners or those at an intermediate stage how to read and play any kind of music as they develop their reading and interpretation skills. My tailored lessons focus on ear training, first sight reading, solfege, improvisation and more. Every student has a unique musical journey. At my studio, I inspire learners of all ages and skill levels to build confidence, and turn every note into a step toward excellence."
