Greetings! My name is Jaryd Reyes and I am a multi-instrumentalist, collaborative musician, music educator and dedicated piano tutor. With over a decade's worth of experience in teaching within a a variety of musical styles, I am well versed in teaching students from a diverse range of musical backgrounds. With a Bachelor's of Fine Arts Degree with Honours, I have training in Classical, Jazz, Gospel, RnB, Rock, Pop, Musical theatre and many other modern genres and cater towards, intermediate, advanced as well as new adult learners. For more specific interests, I have experience training aspiring church pianists how to play in church or worship band settings. I also have experience as a collaborative pianist/piano accompanist which has allowed me to train pianists interested in playing with other instrumentalists or singers in the classical music realm. I have a strong passion for teaching and look to give students well rounded musical skills through intensive ear training, music theory, music history and sight reading. Above all else, I love to personalize my lessons to cater towards the students' individual interests. Whether it's to take piano seriously, as a hobby, to play in a band or even just to learn a song they like. I'm open to anything you want to learn and I'm excited to for us to get started!
