About your spanish tutor

As a Colombian Spanish tutor, I teach students of all levels and tailor every lesson to how each person learns best. I am a current undergraduate at the University of Chicago learning French so I understand what it is like to be a student. With younger learners, I use interactive games, storytelling, and role‑play scenarios to make vocabulary and grammar feel fun and intuitive, while with older students I focus on refining pronunciation, strengthening listening comprehension, and analyzing songs, shows, or cultural content they already enjoy to create a personalized and engaging experience. I can also help you study for an upcoming test or complete any homework! A typical lesson includes a warm‑up, a focused skill or grammar topic, interactive practice, and a quick wrap‑up to reinforce progress. If you don't like any of the activities we do though, I am open to change things and tailor a lesson to what you specifically need. What sets me apart is my patience, my zero‑pressure approach, and my commitment to meeting students exactly where they are so they feel supported and confident. My lessons are great for anyone who wants to learn Spanish in a warm, encouraging, and culturally rich environment.
