To finilize, my 1st experience as a Tech Teacher was in the 2025-2026 year in Caribbean School that it's located in La Rambla in Ponce, Puerto Rico. My goal from giving piano lessons and tutoring is to give a fresh approach to all and a friendly knowledge to my fellow students in this time. Eventhow I have less than 1 year of experience, I have some expertise in chord theory, ear training, finger techniques, and between others. I specialized in nurturing skills like performance techniques, sight-reading, and mastering scales from students of all levels that coukd be kids, adults, or beginners. Piano concepts taught by Jan

Student learned about 17 hours ago

The tutor and student reviewed piano warm-up exercises, practiced major scales (C, D, E) with hands separately and together, and worked on ascending scales by an octave. They also engaged in note identification exercises using flashcards and began practicing measures from Mozart's Sonata K545 with a metronome, with plans to continue this piece and introduce F and G major scales, along with major chord theory, in the next session.

The Student and Tutor reviewed C, D, and E major scales, focusing on proper piano technique and articulation. They then practiced Mozart's Sonata No. 16 in C major (K545), reviewing earlier measures and beginning new sections. The session concluded with an explanation and practice of building major chords using the root, major third, and perfect fifth, alongside a review of the major scale formula, with homework assigned for continued practice on scales, the sonata, and chord construction.

The Student and Tutor reviewed how to build major scales, focusing on the D major scale's alterations, and learned to construct a C major chord by identifying its tonic, third, and fifth. They practiced new piano articulation techniques, staccato and legato, and explored musical dynamics such as allegro, crescendo, and decrescendo. Homework includes practicing the D and E major scales, and refining measures 1-17 of the sonata with the correct techniques and dynamics.

The Student and Tutor conducted a piano lesson, reviewing the C major scale and collaboratively deriving the D major scale using the tone-semitone method. They focused on refining piano technique, including wrist relaxation and crucial thumb transitions, during scale and sonata practice. Homework was assigned to practice the D major and E major scales, and specific sonata sections (compasses 11-17), emphasizing the thumb technique.

Student and Tutor engaged in an introductory piano session. They assessed the Student's current playing abilities through a performance of a sonata, reviewed basic finger techniques, practiced the C Major scale with both hands, and introduced fundamental music theory concepts like chords and scale construction using the tone-tone-semitone formula. The plan for future lessons involves building structural learning and strengthening techniques.
