Hi, I’m Angie, a Spanish teacher. I love teaching my native language. I’m from Cali, Colombia—often called “the branch of heaven.” I enjoy sharing everything I know, whenever and wherever I can. I strive to create pleasant, comfortable, spontaneous, and joyful learning environments. I believe that learning should be fun and pressure-free, because when we learn while having fun, that learning becomes memorable and meaningful. In our classes, we explore topics related to global culture and various subjects of interest. I worked at an online Spanish school teaching Filipino students. I developed teaching strategies to make the lessons engaging. I have videos on TikTok where I share fun facts about Spanish, including interesting tidbits about homophones and spelling. I know all the rules of Spanish grammar; personally, I love the grammar of my language. I firmly believe that learning the grammar of a language is essential for speaking correctly and formally.
