Find your voice with a professional opera singer and graduate of New England Conservatory (BM in Vocal Performance) and USC (MM in Vocal Arts).

Marina is a New York-based vocalist and teacher originally from Dunkirk. In 2024, she graduated with her Master of Music in Vocal Arts from the University of Southern California Thornton School of Music. In 2021, Marina earned her Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from New England Conservatory. She specializes in classical and musical theater vocal techniques, but loves to teach voice and piano students of all ages, levels, and musical interests. Marina takes pride in making her studio a safe space for all students to learn, create, and grow! Marina has been teaching private voice and piano lessons since 2017, beginning her career at Garrett Music Academy. From 2019-2020, Marina co-lead GMA’s “I am the Lead” summer program. Following her acceptance of the 2020 Calvert County Arts in Education Award, Marina served as a masterclass clinician for Anne Arundel County Public Schools and as a musical theater vocal coach for Calvert Theatrics. She then taught private voice and piano lessons at Sunset Learning Studio in Redondo Beach, California. During her time out west, Marina led Young Opera Theater’s “Opera Fantastica” children’s opera program as an instructor and artistic director. Some of Marina’s favorite operatic roles in her repertoire include Vitellia in La Clemenza di Tito, Hanna Glawari in The Merry Widow, Nina in Chérubin, Pamina in Die Zauberflöte, Tina in Flight, and Roselinde in Die Fledermaus. Her teaching philosophy is based on science-informed pedagogy, the Alexander Technique, and Gyrokenesis. But the teaching tools that she finds the most important are kindness, understanding, and a love of music.
