Technically, I get into the nuts and bolts of singing and speaking, for both the stage, the microphone, the camera, and everyday. I like to make things fun, but also get things done. Students should sing songs they want to sing. My background includes classical, jazz, pop, contemporary and many other genres of singing. I also teach RCM vocal training and theory training and sight singing, and have taught them on basic and advanced levels for successful students. I have a doctorate in vocal music with 25 years of teaching experience, but also am a professional actor, and have worked with students just on voice, and coached them in acting as well. I’ve also worked with talented kids on the spectrum, professionals of different ages, and kids just starting out. But I also teach students who just want to improve their voice. This has included young and old, professionals and hobbyists, singers, actors, songwriters, those who just want to improve their voice. You want to learn. I’d like to teach.
