Music Teaching Experience I am an experienced music educator and creative arts facilitator with a Bachelor of Music and extensive experience teaching, performing, and supporting students to develop confidence through music. My teaching style is encouraging, creative, and student-centred. I believe music education is not only about developing technical skills but also about helping students discover their own voice, creativity, confidence, and enjoyment of music. My music teaching experience includes: * Teaching singing, voice development, musicianship, and performance confidence. * Supporting students with pitch, rhythm, listening skills, expression, and presentation. * Using games, storytelling, movement, and creative activities to engage younger learners. * Adapting lessons to suit different ages, personalities, abilities, and learning needs. * Supporting neurodivergent students through flexible, strength-based approaches. * Facilitating group music activities, including singing programs and community sessions. * Encouraging creativity through songwriting, improvisation, drama, and storytelling. * Helping students overcome performance anxiety and build confidence. My background in education, music, creative arts therapy, play-based approaches, and counselling skills allows me to create a supportive environment where students feel safe to experiment, learn, and grow. I aim to make music lessons joyful, meaningful, and empowering while building strong foundations in musical skills.
