Discover a variety of styles as well as sight singing and music theory with tailored lessons for each student.

My name is Rifka Hargrave. I grew up singing classical and Opera but as i git older, i became more interested in Musical Theatre including the styles: legit, standard broadway, contemporary legit, pop/rock and contemporary MT. I gained my degree at Italia Conti which is one of the highest rated performing arts Universities in the country. Whilst training, I was given 1-1 singing lessons every week with one of the highest rated singing teachers. This has given me the tools to be able to teach a whole range of styles and abilities. I also teach 1-1 singing lessons to age 6-18 as well as previously teaching ensemble singing to age 6-18. I also have experience in sight singing and reading sheet music. I’ve played a multitude of instruments but i mainly use piano to aid singing lessons. This helps me tailor warm ups and technical exercises to students in real time during lessons. I’ve done up to grade 8 ABRSM so can help students do this. I’m currently also a LAMDA teacher. This means I can help with music theory even if it’s just the basics of reading sheet music. I love teaching people who are just willing to give everything a go and let go. I’ll never ask you to do something that I won’t do with you. I can’t wait to teach some lovely people!
