I learned Spanish from dedicated highschool teachers as well as "studying" on my own time. Because I taught myself, I am confident that anyone can learn! Get ready to soak in diverse vocabulary, recognize useful phrases, and have grammar structures roll off of your tongue. I can teach you to immerse yourself in Spanish and pour yourself into learning so that it comes easily, like how we learned our native language! I base my teaching style in taking topics you love and hobbies you care about and using them to teach you Spanish. Learning words from vocab sheets can be tough. Seeing pictures, hearing the words used in videos, and using them in real life will help them stick! Grammar doesn't have to require rigid memorization. Instead, learn from the native speakers and pick up on it like they did! I took 5 years of Spanish classes for my Distinguished Seal of Biliteracy, then transitioned to working in Spanish restaurants for experience with native speakers, then taught Spanish in a classroom setting. I am passionate about helping people realize that they can learn a foreign language without endless vocabulary worksheets and hours of studying grammar charts.
