Hello! I'm Darcie Ogando-Almanzar, a Dominican singer-songwriter with a master’s degree in Music Composition. I have been singing for the past nine years, and I’d love to provide vocal coaching for beginners, adults, and kids. I’m experienced in various areas, including harmony, improvisation, music theory, and composition. From rock to jazz, pop, musical theater, and beyond, my goal is not only to train great singers, but also to help develop confident and expressive performers. My personalized lessons focus on melody, vocal technique, and emotional expression, helping students connect and communicate effectively with their audience. As a composer and producer, I also encourage students to use their lesson time for any additional musical skills or guidance they may need. I earned my degree from Florida State University, where I deepened my passion for music, performance, and artistic collaboration.
