I'm Wan Hoi Wong, a music teacher for over 20 years in high school and elementary school. I love music and singing a lot, so, I am an active singer in choirs. I am a loyal member in The Hong Kong Bach Choir since 2012. I sung the alto part, I am a mezzo soprano. I also perform in operas with Musica Viva and Cantabile when I was in Hong Kong. The first opera I sung was Carmen. Other operas I sung include L’elisir d’amore, Norma, Merry Widow, La Bohème & Fairy Queen. In schools, I teach students vocal techniques and more, including ear training, harmony, improvisation, music theory etc. I enjoy training students to reach the levels high enough to participate in performances, competitions and public exams. I specialize in classical music. I also enjoy singing hymns in church. My main instruments are piano and flute. I have been the church pianist since high school. In order to be a complete musician, I also learn some other instruments such as violin, cello, harp, ocarina, melodica, harmonica, organ, ukulele, African drums etc. I believe everyone is able to sing and enjoy music.
