Nina - Get to know your vocal coach
I’m Nina Soyfer, a vocal coach with over 20 years of experience, holding a Doctorate in Music and a Teacher of Distinction certification from the Royal Conservatory of Music. I specialize in classical, operatic, and contemporary styles, guiding singers from early technique to professional recordings. My students have gone on to release music on Spotify and iTunes, and one of them even earned a gold medal in RCM examinations. I tailor each lesson to individual goals—whether it’s for stage, studio, or pure artistic growth—empowering every singer to unlock their full potential with confidence and artistry. I teach also projection for rap artists. I work with children, teens, and adults, from complete beginners to advanced performers preparing for auditions, exams, competitions, studio recordings, or professional stages. My teaching combines healthy vocal technique, breath support, ear training, confidence building, interpretation, and emotional expression. I teach classical, opera, pop, jazz, folk, musical theatre, and contemporary styles, helping students discover their unique voice instead of copying others. Many students come to me to improve pitch, expand vocal range, strengthen projection, prepare for RCM examinations, or record original music. I have guided singers into recording studios and supported releases on Spotify and other streaming platforms. My goal is not only strong technique but helping students become expressive, confident artists who truly enjoy singing.
