Hi! I’m Melissa Crowley, a Masters-educated tutor with over 15 years of teaching experience both in the classroom and online. I am in Opportunity Class subjects such as Critical Thinking Skills, Reading Comprehension, Public Speaking, Creative Writing, Test Preparation, and both remedial and advanced reading and writing skills-based subject matter. Along with a Masters of Arts in Teaching degree, I also hold a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Justice Sciences. In addition, I have an Arizona State Dept of Education K-12 Teaching Certificate, Montessori Primary Teacher Credential, and a TEFL teaching certificate. I also hold a COMP Classroom Organization and Management Certificate from Peabody College at Vanderbilt University. I am a proud member of the Kappa Delta Pi National Honor Society adter having graduated with a 3.99 from graduate school. My specialties include enhancing conceptual understanding, boosting grades, conducting mock tests, creating personalized study plans, and teaching effective test taking strategies.
