I have a great enthusiasm for humanities teaching and possess a solid educational background in History as well as interdisciplinary social sciences. Teaching that goes beyond mere memorization and involves clear explanations, lively discussions and the making of real-world connections is what I most enjoy doing for the students to understand the difficult topics. Being student-centered and interactive are the key components of my instruction and I am prepared to change my ways to be suitable for different learners as well. The development of critical thinking, analytical writing, as well as conceptual understanding, are what motivate my teaching. These skills are important for AP-level courses. I motivate students to ask their questions without hesitation and to be independent and confident in sharing their thoughts. Academic research, essay writing, and competitive exam preparation are my areas of experience through which I know how to break down difficult concepts keeping the academic level intact. I want to make a place of learning for students that is not only supportive but also very motivating so that students have no problem with learning at their own speed. One of my main focuses is on assisting students to achieve excellent results in AP subjects by their historical analysis, argument building, comprehension, and exam strategies being enhanced.
