Esther - Know your tutor
Hello! My name is Esther, and I am a current medical student with several years of experience tutoring students from elementary school through the college level. I am passionate about helping students build confidence, strengthen their understanding of challenging subjects, and achieve their academic goals. Although my bachelor's degree is in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, and Bioinformatics, I have extensive experience tutoring mathematics through Calculus I, as well as a variety of science-related subjects. My background in medicine and science has helped me develop strong problem-solving skills that I incorporate into my teaching. I specialize in personalized learning plans, real-world applications, and effective study and test-taking strategies. Because every student learns differently, I tailor my approach to fit each student's individual needs, strengths, and learning style. My goal is not only to improve grades but also to help students develop confidence, critical thinking skills, and a deeper understanding of the material. I love both teaching and learning, and I am excited to work with each student to discover the strategies that help them succeed. I look forward to being a part of your academic journey!
