I'm Anita Dina. I have 13 years of teaching experience and have handled multiple subjects. My background includes teaching learners of various ages. I have experience teaching Social Science, Science, Math, English, Physical Education, Phonics, Writing and Art. My teaching philosophy centers on making learning simple, meaningful, and enjoyable for students. I believe that children learn best when they feel engaged and excited, so I always try to incorporate fun and interactive elements into my lessons. I use songs, games, props, costumes, dance, and movement activities to keep young learners interested and actively participating during class. I also try to include the students' interests in my lessons. If they are into robots, we try to count robots in our math drill exercises. We try to study parts and gears for our Science lesson learning what materials makes a robot and how it actually works. I strive to let my students see that Math is not a separate subject, it can also be seen in Science and vice versa for students to see that learning these subjects are not separate entities. In addition, I have experience teaching students with special needs. I understand the importance of patience, flexibility, and individualized instruction. I provide modified activities that match the student’s learning level, allow extra time when needed, and maintain open communication with parents or guardians regarding the student’s progress. I also work closely with recommendations from therapists or support professionals to ensure that the student receives appropriate guidance and support. As a teacher, my goal is not only to help students improve academically but also to encourage curiosity, confidence, creativity, and a genuine love for learning.
