Hello, I'm Derick. I am excited to begin tutoring you in English and the world of Chess. I have been an online teacher for the past ten years. I love meeting learners from all over the world. I enjoy games too, and Chess is the ultimate tactical game. There are many different openings, mid-game, and end-game strategies one can learn and analyze. I thoroughly enjoy games too, whether that be video games, sports, or a fun and competitive game of blitz chess with a friend, I'm always up for a game. Some of my other interests involve going to gym - I try to hit a workout at least 5 times per week. I also have a beautiful dog who is a central part of my life. We love going for walks, playing fetch, and of course long afternoon naps! Lastly, one of my favorite foods is a good old fashoned barbecue. I enjoy steak, chicken, or even pork on the bbq.
