Hi, I’m Jasmeen Sidhu, a Bachelors-educated math tutor with a genuine passion for helping students discover that math isn’t something to fear — it’s something to enjoy. I specialize Geometry, and Trigonometry, and more. I work with learners across Elementary, Middle, and High School. I hold a Bachelors degree in mathematicsand while my formal tutoring experience is still under a year, I’ve packed that time with intensive, hands-on work across a wide range of math topics and student needs, because I believe great tutoring isn’t just about how many years you’ve been doing it, but about how deeply you understand your students and how creatively you can adapt to the way each one learns. My sessions are built around a few core techniques. I start by assessing where a student currently stands, identify specific gaps, and then build a customized roadmap toward their goals, whether that’s passing a class, catching up after falling behind, or getting ahead for a more advanced course and homework assistance. I don’t just give answers but walk through the reasoning behind each problem so students leave not just with a finished assignment but with actual understanding they can apply to the next one. I want to be the person who catches that gap early, explains it patiently, and rebuilds confidence before it turns into math anxiety, because there’s nothing more rewarding than watching a student go from dreading a subject to raising their hand in class. I’m patient by nature and don’t get frustrated when a student needs something explained five different ways before it clicks, because that’s part of the job and honestly I care about building real relationships with the students.
