I am Celsa Sombilon, a graduate of Bachelor of Elementary Education program. I have been teaching for almost 17 years and have five years of experience as a beginner piano tutor. For beginners ,I focus on developing essential piano skills such as proper hand position, finger coordination, note reading, rhythm, timing, and basic music theory. I believe that a strong foundation is crucial for a long term success. Rather than rushing through lessons, I ensure that students fully understand each concept before moving on to more advanced material. I also believe that learning piano should be enjoyable. Music is not only about technique but also about expression an creativity. I encourage students to appreciate the beauty of music while developing their skills. By incorporating familiar songs , engaging exercises, and achievable goals, I help students stay motivated and excited about their progress. Patience is the most qualities I bring to my teaching. I understand that learning instruments requires time , dedication and constant practice. I encourage students to view mistakes as valuable learning opportunities rather than failures.
