Andrew - your physics tutor

I am a tutor of mathematics and science. I have an undergraduate degree and an unaccredited master's in physics. I also have a master's in science education. I have over twenty years of experience teaching and tutoring STEM subjects at all levels. I have taught popular curricula such as the British IGCSE/A-level and American AP. I can design lesson plans to fit these, or other, specific programs or else trach to the specific topics you would like to pursue I can assist you in solving homework problems, test prep, or understanding and interpreting lab results. I can do this in mathematics, physics, chemistry and biology. I am also certified in the popular software applications Wolfram Language (Mathematica) and MATLB/Simulink. I can do either classroom or real world exercises. I have helped many students with projects with such things as motors, drones, and robotics. My style is friendly but firm. I will not merely provide answers but also explain how to get them. I will ask you plenty of questions to determine exactly what ounts you are struggling. In addition, I am TEFL certified and I have taught for several years in Asia so I am very comfortable working with English Language Learners. I look forward to working with you, and I hope I can assist you in your academic journey. Andrew Stallard

The Tutor and Student worked through a statics problem involving a truss, focusing on applying the principles of equilibrium (sum of forces = 0, sum of moments = 0). They calculated forces and torques, including finding the center of mass for a triangular component, and planned to continue practicing statics problems.
