Remove the fear of physics from students’ minds. By not only solving it but how it works.

Iam Sanidhya S, a Physics tutor I am someone who genuinely enjoys teaching physics and helping students understand how the world around them works. I have been teaching for over two years now, mainly working with students from grades 8 to 10. Along with my teaching experience, I also hold a degree in civil engineering, which has played an important role in shaping the way I look at and teach physics. For me, physics is not just a subject in a textbook—it’s something we see and experience every day. I also believe that a classroom should be interactive. I don’t like the idea of just speaking while students sit quietly and listen. I encourage my students to ask questions, even if they feel the question is small or basic. In fact, I always tell them that asking questions is a sign that they are thinking. Sometimes, students hesitate because they are afraid of being wrong, so I try to create a comfortable environment where they feel safe to speak up. Regular practice and feedback are also important parts of my teaching. I take small tests, give assignments, and revise topics regularly. But I don’t focus only on marks. I focus more on improvement. When I check their work, I try to point out where they are doing well and where they need to improve. This helps students build confidence and stay motivated. In the end, my goal as a teacher is not just to complete the syllabus, but to make sure my students truly understand what they are learning. I want them to feel confident in physics and develop an interest in it. If they can start seeing physics in their everyday life and feel curious about it, I believe I have done my job well.
