About your french tutor
I am Francine Tchokoga, an education student passionate about teaching and student development. My teaching style is student-centered, within a supportive, inclusive, and structured environment. I believe that each child learns at their own pace, which is why I use a variety of strategies such as small group work, interactive activities, and visual aids to make learning accessible and engaging. I establish clear routines and positive classroom management to create an environment conducive to learning. I also place great importance on student participation, autonomy, and self-confidence. Differentiated instruction is an integral part of my practice: I adapt my activities according to students’ needs and value their progress. I gained experience during my internships at Henry Bergeron School and Lansdowne College, where I was involved in classroom management and student support. Since September 2024, I have been working as a substitute teacher in the Franco-Manitoban School Division, which has allowed me to develop adaptability and classroom management skills in various contexts. In addition, my experience as an educational assistant in a daycare setting has strengthened my skills in supervision, communication, and group management. I have learned to demonstrate patience, active listening, and kindness while ensuring the well-being of children. These experiences have enabled me to develop a student-centered teaching approach focused on inclusion, motivation, and the success of every learner.
