Been Teaching Students as Young as 4 y/o towards the Mathematics of Success, One Discovery at a Time!

My name is Kiera Anne S. Villanueva, and I am a passionate and dedicated math teacher. I have had the incredible privilege of teaching math to students of all ages, starting when they were just four years old. From the very beginning of my teaching career, I believed with all my heart that math is not something to be afraid of, but something to be embraced, explored, and celebrated. This belief has guided every lesson I've taught, every student I've helped, and every breakthrough moment I've been lucky enough to see. I have worked with the youngest of learners—bright-eyed four-year-olds who are just learning about numbers for the first time—and walked with them as they discovered the beauty of counting, patterns, and simple equations. I planted seeds of confidence that I know will grow with them for the rest of their lives. As those students got older, so did my teaching. I have always thought that a great teacher meets each student where they are, whether they are a curious preschooler just starting to learn what numbers mean or an older student struggling with more difficult math concepts. I've taught both online and in person, which has let me reach and affect students far beyond the walls of a traditional classroom. I've connected with students from different communities, backgrounds, and situations, and I've shown time and time again that every student can succeed when math is taught with passion, patience, and real care.
