I am Alejandro Naranjo, an artist and educator from Colombia with a deep passion for learning, creativity, and human connection. I understand education as a bridge that connects both my students and myself to a wide range of possibilities, experiences, and ways of understanding the world. Through teaching, I aim not only to transmit knowledge, but also to inspire curiosity, confidence, and a sense of purpose in every learner. I have nearly 20 years of teaching experience, working with diverse communities and age groups. Most of my career has been dedicated to teaching English in Colombia, where I have supported students in developing practical communication skills and cultural awareness. Additionally, I spent two years in Houston, Texas, working as a bilingual teacher in a dual-language program, teaching in both Spanish and English. This international experience strengthened my ability to adapt to different learning styles and multicultural environments. My classes are dynamic, interactive, and thoughtfully structured to balance motivation and challenge. I design learning experiences that encourage participation, creativity, and critical thinking, while also providing clear guidance and measurable progress. I believe that students learn best when they feel engaged, supported, and challenged at the same time. My main goal is to help learners build confidence and autonomy, so they can effectively use the target language in real-life situations. I focus on practical communication, meaningful interaction, and continuous improvement, ensuring that students can see tangible results in their learning process.
