Engaging math tutor with innovative and personalized teaching methods to assist students with various curriculums.

I'm David Ofulue, a math tutor with a diploma, currently pursuing a biomedical engineering degree at the University of California, Davis. I have been teaching for over three years, with one of those years being a tutor at Kumon. I am also a freelance private tutor, so I am able to work with students both individually and one-on-one. My personal approach to tutoring math includes covering the basic fundamentals of different topics to understand a student's areas of expertise, and as we dive deeper into the curriculum, I go over tips and tricks to help students better understand concepts, and can also provide alternative methods to apply to certain problems, allowing for faster solving. I am also very good at helping students improve their mental math's skills, and personalizing problems that make mathematics easier for my tutee's to understand in a way that makes math more fun for, allowing them to visualize problems using real life scenarios, making my lessons engaging and easy to follow. With expertise in mathematics ranging from basic, elementary level arithmetic, to vast and complex calculus 2 problems, I strive to provide my tutees with the best learning experiences possible to ensure their success.
