Hi, I’m Eva Simpson, a beginner voice tutor with experience in Musical Theatre, Pop, Rock, Jazz, and Classical music. I’ve had many years of formal training in both Musical Theatre and Classical Voice, and I’ve been honored to represent my region as a Provincial Classical Voice Representative and Alternate for three consecutive years at Performing Arts BC. I’ve performed in over fifteen musical theatre productions, along with numerous concerts, which has given me a strong foundation in both performance and stage presence. My coaching experience includes character development for musical theatre pieces and helping singers understand vocal intention. I especially enjoy working with beginners and children, focusing on building confidence and creating a supportive, encouraging environment. I can help with breath work, warm-up techniques, performance skills, and style-specific approaches across a variety of genres. As a developing teacher, I’m passionate about growing alongside my students while working toward my goal of teaching professionally. From working with young beginners to coaching youth for auditions, I offer flexible, personalized sessions tailored to each student. I believe two of the most important elements in performing arts are conveying a message and having fun.
