Kate - Get to know your vocal coach
Hi! My name is Kate Glennon. I am a graduate of Marymount Manhattan College where I received my BFA in Musical Theatre. Since my gradurion in 2023, I have been performing around the country. As I am quite often on the road, I swapped from working at an in-person vocal studio to teaching virtually! I specialize in musical theatre and pop/rock - focusing on performance, style, and technique. Each lesson begins with a vocal warmup and technical vocalizes. We then put those techniques to the test through a song of the student’s choice. We use karaoke backing tracks in my lessons. We also keep it very physical - as the voice is a muscle! My goal is to help you succeed in any and all of your specific goals! I also have a designated program designed for high school students who are looking to pursue musical theatre in college. We choose your contrasting audition songs and work on telling a STORY - both through vocal technique and acting performance. I am there to help with monologues, prescreens, self-tape setups, and more to get you into the right program for you! Thank you so much for reading about me, and I cannot wait to learn about each and every one of you. Let’s book a lesson and get this party started!
