Hussan ul - Know your tutor
Hi, Students! I am a passionate mathematics tutor and current PhD student in Mathematics and Quantum Information at Kyung Hee University, South Korea. I hold a Bachelor’s in Computer Science with a strong focus on mathematics from one of Pakistan’s top universities (PIEAS - During my admission, it was ranked 1st in Pakistan). But here’s the twist: I wasn’t always a math genius. In fact, I didn’t fall in love with math until university when I realized that even the toughest problems can be cracked with the right fundamentals and mindset. Now, I do math for a living and love helping students discover how logical and beautiful it really is. How I Teach: I follow an intuitive-first approach, just like my favorite YouTuber, 3Blue1Brown. That means: Concept First – I break down topics clearly before jumping into problems. Visual & Logical Thinking - Learn why a concept works, not just how. Confidence Through Fundamentals - Everything in advanced math is built on basics, such as simple concepts like numbers, matrices, sets, vectors, and angles etc. Master them, and you can solve anything. What I Teach: For Kids, High School and Undergraduates → Kids level maths → Algebra | Geometry | Trigonometry → Pre-Calculus & Calculus (AP & A-Level) → SAT | ACT | GRE | Other Standardized Test Prep → Problem-Solving Techniques for Competitive Exams → Calculus (Single & Multivariable) → Linear Algebra | Differential Equations | Numerical Analysis and any other undergraduate maths courses etc 👨🏫 Why Learn With Me? I teach in a way that’s engaging, relatable, and confidence-building. If you're preparing for competitive exams or just trying to survive your math class, I’ll help you break problems into manageable steps.

Mathematics concepts taught by Hussan ul
The Student and Tutor reviewed Diophantine equations, with the Student providing an example and explanation. They then applied concepts of Dunbar and Fibonacci sequences to solve a problem from the Fryer Contest involving the product of terms in a sequence. The session concluded with successfully identifying the unique solution for the initial terms, and the Tutor suggested exploring more Diophantine equations in the next class.
Introduction to Diophantine Equations
Dunbar Sequences and Fibonacci Connection
Constraining Sequence Terms with Inequalities
Prime Factorization for Finding Possible Terms
Backtracking to Initial Terms and Validity Check
The student and tutor worked through a series of mathematical problems covering geometry, algebra, and number theory, including area calculations, exponent rules, and sequence patterns. They also touched upon probability, which will be discussed further in the next session.
Probability & Conditional Scenarios
Geometric Area Calculations
Sequences and Series (Fibonacci-like)
Number Theory & Powers
Algebraic Expressions & Problem Solving
The tutor and student worked on solving basic linear equations, focusing on the principles of isolating variables and the inverse operations. They also touched upon identifying types of triangles and the concept of symmetry. The session aimed to build the student's understanding of algebraic manipulation through step-by-step problem-solving.
Solving Linear Equations
Systems of Linear Equations
Types of Triangles
The student and tutor worked through several challenging math problems, including geometry with coordinate points and a complex word problem involving meeting durations and breaks. The session focused on algebraic equation setup, solving, and applying logical deductions to find integer solutions. The tutor assigned a similar problem for the student to practice.
Understanding Area of Triangles in Coordinate Geometry
Applying Constraints to Solutions
Solving Linear Equations with Multiple Variables
Integer Solutions and Divisibility
The Student and Tutor reviewed mathematical concepts, starting with a discussion on the definition of infinity and its paradoxes. They worked through a logarithm series problem, attempting both a proof-based derivation and a more direct calculation. The session also included a rapid-fire practice of various applied math problems and culminated in deriving the general formula for a quadratic sequence and setting up equations to solve for its constants, which was assigned as homework.
Infinity vs. Undefined in Division by Zero
Summation Techniques for Arithmetic-Geometric Series
Quadratic Sequences and the Delta Operator (Δ²A = Constant)
Strategic Approaches to Mathematical Problems
Student and Tutor reviewed a homework problem focused on calculating the sum of floor functions of base-2 logarithms. They discussed the properties of floor and ceiling functions, and explored methods for formulating the sum algebraically. The session also included an extensive theoretical discussion on the nature of infinity and divergent series, with the Tutor planning to send a solution for the logarithm problem and additional proofs regarding infinite series.
