Hey, I'm Maximilien! I'm 18 years old, French and currently studying Music Business, Production and Performance at the University of Westminster in London. I've been playing piano since I was 5, so that's almost 14 years now, and teaching is genuinely something I love doing. My story with piano wasn't perfect from the start. When I was learning, my teachers followed very strict methods that never really suited me. I felt stuck, I wasn't progressing the way I wanted, and honestly it took some of the joy out of playing. So instead of giving up, I built my own approach, the one I wish I had when I started. The idea is simple: we learn the songs you actually want to play, we go at your pace, and music theory comes in naturally along the way, little by little, without ever feeling overwhelming or boring. I have a solid theoretical background and I genuinely enjoy sharing it in a way that makes sense to people who are just starting out. I'm very patient with beginners because I know exactly what it feels like to be at that stage where everything seems complicated. My goal is always to make you feel confident and excited after every single lesson, not frustrated. I also speak French fluently as it's my native language, so if you're more comfortable learning en français, that works perfectly too!
