Mathematics Tutor | ISI Graduate | Concept-Focused Teaching for Strong Problem Solving Skills

I am a passionate mathematics educator with a strong academic background and a deep interest in helping students truly understand concepts rather than just memorizing formulas. I completed my Master’s degree from the Indian Statistical Institute, which strengthened my analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Along with my academic training, I have teaching experience at FIITJEE where I worked with students preparing for competitive exams, helping them build strong fundamentals in mathematics and logical reasoning. I also currently teach through My Engineering Buddy, where I assist students from different academic backgrounds in understanding complex mathematical topics in a simple and structured way. My teaching philosophy focuses on conceptual clarity, step-by-step problem solving, and encouraging students to think independently. I believe that mathematics becomes much easier and enjoyable when students understand the intuition behind formulas and the logic behind each step. During my sessions, I break down difficult problems into smaller manageable parts so that students can follow the reasoning and develop confidence in solving similar problems on their own. I also adapt my teaching style depending on the student’s level and learning pace. Some students prefer detailed explanations while others benefit more from practice and discussion, so I make sure my sessions remain interactive and engaging. I encourage students to ask questions freely and I guide them through multiple approaches to solve a problem. My goal is not only to help students score well in exams but also to develop strong analytical and problem-solving skills that will benefit them in higher studies and real-world applications.
