Grow your piano skills with a skilled pianist and singer who is in her 2nd year of study at the University of Chichester

Hi, my name is Hope Sheen. I am in the middle of my bachelor's course in Music with teaching, and I've had over 2 years of experience specialising in piano lessons. I started learning the piano when I was 8 years old and had lessons for 3 years before deciding to teach myself. When I was in school, I did a lot of volunteer work, helping others with things they were struggling with, from creating a catchy melody to figuring out the best finger placements for a piece you want to learn. I focus on chord theory, ear training and sight reading. I want to help develop the skills of kids, beginners and intermediates who are interested in the piano. Whether it's honing your performance skills or finding out more about music theory, I am here to help. Join me to unlock and take apart the things you find difficult in the piano so that it's simpler for you to understand. It is a wonderful instrument that can unlock and express so many feelings; all you need is a guide. Everyone learns differently, and I wanted to make sure that I am teaching in a way that will help you and not hinder you. I will take feedback at the end of every lesson and try to apply it in the following lesson. Whilst I personally play pop songs, I am open to learning new things, depending on you! As a little side note, I sing as well, so if you want to learn how to play and sing at the same time, I am also here for that.
