Experienced Violin Tutor | 5+ Years Teaching | RCM Exam Preparation & Fundamentals

Hello! I’m Nancy Huang, a violin tutor with over five years of experience providing one-on-one instruction to both children and adults. My teaching focuses on building strong fundamentals in violin technique, tone production, posture, and musical expression while helping students develop confidence and discipline through music. I tailor each lesson to the individual student’s pace, learning style, and goals, creating a structured but engaging learning environment that encourages steady progress. Throughout my teaching experience, I have guided students through Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) examination preparation, successfully helping students pass Levels 4, 6, and 9. In addition to technical skills, I incorporate music theory, ear training, and performance preparation into lessons so that students develop a well-rounded understanding of music. My goal is not only to help students improve their violin playing but also to help them build focus, confidence, and a lasting appreciation for music. Outside of teaching, I am currently studying Business Administration at Western University. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, playing ultimate frisbee, exploring art galleries, and making music. I love meeting new people and sharing my passion for music with students from different backgrounds.
