Skilled Math Tutor who was awarded in multiple International Mathematical Olympiads and excels in teaching Algebra and Trigonometry.

I'm Gletine Mei Sanchez and I am currently a student under the degree of Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. For most of my life, mathematics has been one of my greatest strengths. From Grade 9 up until my last year in high school, I participated in multiple International Mathematical Olympiads like Thailand International Mathematical Olympiad and Hong Kong International Mathematical Olympiad. As I was known to be good in mathematics, I tutored my peers for free and sometimes with incentives. I would also tutor my siblings in simple mathematics at home as well. To teach, I would typically use an example I find and let them try to solve it first. Once everyone has tried, then I will explain how to solve it properly and correct mistakes when there are some. When there is time, I will make use of the concepts and create a gamified version of the said concepts, making sure they understand both the theoretical concept and the application in real world examples. I enjoy working with students from elementary to highschool, as it is easy to gauge their ability of understanding in a certain subject and will be much easier to talk with them if they're having trouble in a specific subject.
